- ➤ The Rio Grande Valley Partnership announced that its monthly Commercialization and Investment Tours will be rebranded as the RGV Connect Forum in January, and the program will expand to include regional policy advocacy—traveling across the Valley to unite local leaders and guide state and federal decision-making. - ➤ Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez said the Rio Grande Valley must change its story to boost prosperity during his 2025 State of the County address at McAllen Convention Center. He listed projects like drainage improvements, a new parking garage, and better roads while urging local leaders and business people to work together for a stronger future—despite challenges like poverty.
