- ➤ A bill introduced by state Sen. Adam Hinojosa will shift weekday authority to close Boca Chica beach for SpaceX launches to the proposed city of Starbase, which residents will vote to incorporate in May—Cameron County will keep control on Friday afternoons and weekends. - ➤ Cameron County Commissioner Gus Ruiz said that mosquito spraying started Thursday and will continue as needed — debris collection also began for residents in Precinct Four’s unincorporated areas.
