- ➤ The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley announced last week it received a 150—thousand-dollar Impact Grant from the Maximus Foundation that will provide 50—thousand dollars a year for the next three years to help address food insecurity in the region. KURV
- ➤ On November 20, 2025, Amigos Del Valle delivered Thanksgiving meals—including smoked turkey, gravy, stuffing, and sides—to seniors and disabled clients at local centers in the Valley. The nonprofit, sponsored by H-E-B's Feast of Sharing campaign, prepared over 2,000 meals early in the morning and relied on drivers like Isabel Rivera to bring nourishment to the community. MyRGV
