- ➤ The Port of Brownsville is boosting trade and local jobs with more than $20 billion in projects underway — including a channel deepening project to allow larger vessels that is set to be completed by late 2026. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Cameron County has announced that State Highway Four will be closed next week for a scheduled SpaceX test flight. The road will be closed from FM-1419 to the Boca Chica Beach entrance from noon to 10 p.m. on Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday as backup dates—Boca Chica Beach will also be closed during the launch window.
