- ➤ Free Wi-Fi is now available at Linear and Dean Porter parks in Brownsville and officials said five downtown parks will get the service over the next two years—state grants and a partnership with Omni-Lit Fiber support the project. The service is free during regular park hours only. KRGV
- ➤ Texas officials announced on Monday that they halted issuing and renewing commercial driver’s licenses for DACA recipients, refugees, and those with asylum—pending applications were terminated to keep roads safe. The decision followed Gov. Abbott’s directive to strictly enforce English proficiency requirements for all commercial drivers. Click2Houston
