SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Brownsville city leaders signed a letter of intent with United Soccer League on Monday to launch a professional soccer team while planning a feasibility study to check if upgrades are needed at Brownsville Sports Park—if the deal is finalized. A committee of about 40 local community members, including board members, team owners, and coaches, has been formed to guide the planning as the study is funded by the United Soccer League. KRGV
