- ➤ Hidalgo County Sheriff Eddie Guerra held a press conference on September 6 to update residents that deputies executing a search warrant at a residence tied to a Mission murder were fired upon by 51-year-old Paulino Guerra Jr—who had killed 36-year-old Felipe Mancilla during a drug deal gone wrong, injuring one deputy before being shot dead.
