A Donna man, Reucindo Trigueros Jr., was arrested for fraudulently attempting to secure $145,000 in home improvement loans using stolen identities from victims approached under the guise of selling home security systems.
In Brownsville, Texas, Richard William Aden was arrested by Cameron County Sheriff's deputies on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child.
A Port Isabel woman, Mariana Martinez Baltazar, faces negligent homicide charges following the death of her 1-year-old daughter, with initial police response also leading to the arrest of Denis De La Cruz for family violence, unrelated to the child's death.
Two individuals were arrested by Brownsville police for robbing a pawn shop and assaulting an employee, following a successful vehicle stop.
