Officials opened the new Marisol Boat Ramp on South Padre Island Tuesday, marking the island's first public bay access in 30 years.
The three-million-dollar facility offers truck and trailer parking plus a fish-cleaning station and is ADA-accessible.

The Art Lounge closed permanently on Saturday, July 18 when founder Shelly Hamsa passed the keys to cellist Jen Mulhern, known as Jenuine Cello, who will reopen the space as Co*Lab Lounge for community events this October.
