- ➤ Brownsville ISD’s all-girls racing team built an electric race car & finished third at the Greenpower USA national competition in Alabama. The seven-member team, including driver Veronica Ibarra and engineer Aimee Gaytan, was the only all-girls team among 89 middle school competitors. KRGV

- ➤ Brownsville ISD Police warn parents not to use Military Highway’s shoulder for student drop-offs at Veterans High School due to safety risks. Extra patrols will start on Tuesday, May 26, and parents are urged to use the designated campus areas. KRGV
