- ➤ A former correctional officer—40-year-old Yuliana Mares from Alamo—was arrested Tuesday and charged with child indecency and violation of civil rights after she allegedly touched a 16-year-old male inmate's genitals while on duty at Evins State Juvenile Correctional Facility in Edinburg in February.
