- ➤ The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is searching for suspects who stole two trailers and additional equipment from Hidalgo County Drainage District #1 south of State Highway 107 and Sunflower Road after the items were reported missing on April 15 and last seen on April 14. KRGV
- ➤ Deputies in Hidalgo County responded on Tuesday to a call from a San Carlos home and later arrested 42-year-old Francisco Coronado Junior on Wednesday after he allegedly assaulted his 86-year-old father, and he now faces charges for injuring an elderly or disabled person with a bond set at $500K. - ➤ Two women were arrested after stealing over $800 in merchandise from an H-E-B on Texas Boulevard in Weslaco, which led to a high-speed chase ending in Brownsville when DPS troopers stopped their vehicle with a PIT maneuver—Maribel Martinez is held on a $15,000 bond and her accomplice on a $20,000 bond.
