- ➤ TXDOT is warning residents about a text scam that sends fake notifications of registration violations with a link to a payment site (official advice directs those affected to report the message to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center). KURV
- ➤ Mayor John Cowen said letters of intent have been received for most lots at the Greater Brownsville Tech District on FM 550. The 730-acre, $500 million park is set to create 9,000 jobs—with a $70 million Public Safety Complex as part of a $300 million city improvement plan. Rio Grande Guardian
