- ➤ Gilberto Salinas, CEO of the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation, said the city will soon announce a project on par with SpaceX and LNG developments that will involve more than $200 million in capital investment—creating a 100-plus person operation and boosting regional jobs. The European company behind the project will supply services from South Texas through northern Mexico and Latin America and pave the way for a new 700-acre industrial park on the city's north side.
