- ➤ The City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation Department will host the Lunada Artisan Market at Linear Park tomorrow, March 16, from (6:00 PM to 10:00 PM) where local artists and musicians will share their work under the stars. City of Brownsville
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City leaders in Brownsville are planning a new industrial park on FM 511 near Devon Drive to support the growing trade and space travel industries. They applied for a $2 million federal grant and will start construction this fall with a developer match — keeping taxpayer funds out of the project. KRGV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ UTRGV confirmed a case of tuberculosis on its Brownsville campus and said the affected community member is isolated and receiving medical care—Cameron County Public Health linked the case to Kiddie City Academy and said officials will test those who may have been exposed. KURV
