- ➤ The Greater Brownsville Economic Development Corporation said FY2025, covering Oct. 1, 2024 to Sept. 30, 2025, brought over $183.7M in capital investments and nearly 31.8 million sqft under development in Brownsville. The report noted 3,288 jobs have been created and investments in industrial, advanced manufacturing & aerospace tech sectors. MyRGV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Cameron County received $2.32 million from the Texas General Land Office on Feb. 24 to support park improvements and environmental programs including beach nourishment, a living shoreline project for Bejarano-McFarland Park, and a beach and dune monitoring program. Cameron County
- ➤ Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr. promoted upcoming projects to boost the local economy today as part of his re-election campaign.
