ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ At least 30 Rio Grande Valley firefighters contained a 185-acre brush fire in the Del Mar Heights area near Los Fresnos off Highway 100 Saturday, with no injuries or property damage reported despite dry conditions. KRGV

- ➤ At a recent meeting at McAllen Country Club, economic development officials including Mark A. Garcia, Mario Reyna, and Joaquin Spamer explained how they coordinated state leads with local EDOs to offer multiple investor alternatives (Judge Richard Cortez also praised the united effort). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ South Texas Health System reports that emergency rooms in the Valley are busy with about two dozen flu patients a day; since September, nearly 2,000 have been treated + 150 hospitalized, with most patients being young adults in their 20s and 30s. Health officials are urging everyone to stay cautious as flu season peaks. KRGV
